1916 Easter Rising

One hundred years on from the Easter Rising of 1916, the Mountbellew Heritage and Tourism Network held poignant ceremony and plaque unveiling in the garden of remembrance at St Mary’s Church in Mountbellew.

Cllr Michael Connolly offiially unveiled a plaque to commemorate all the 1916 heroes at a ceremony in Mountbellew Sunday.
